Unlike norm, this year, Meizu has chosen not to put off the release of a new generation of flagships for at least a year. Well, considering the fact that the Meizu 15 does not look like a full-fledged flagship in 2018 and has become an indicative disregard for modern trends, this step seems to be fully justified. Meizu has done a lot to create the impression that the Meizu 16 series will be impressive for the consumer. As much as we would love to know the features of the device already, it is only possible to guess very little until the flagship line debuts on August 8. At least, insiders are increasingly calling this date as the day of the premiere of Meizu 16. We’ve even seen a teaser with the date of the upcoming announcement.
And while there is still ample time between now and the launch date, techno-spies continue to leak photos of the upcoming flagship. Today we were offered a view of the Meizu 16 from the “back” in a white colour variant. The design of the flagship completely matches the image that was previously showed on the renderers and photos. It only remains to confirm that it will have a vertical double camera and a proprietary ring LED flash. In summary, the design of the back panel of the company follows trademark characteristics – it is similar to previous Meizu flagship devices, and the symbol of the Meizu brand can be found.
