Amazon Echo is arguably the smartest speaker available in the speaker market and the speaker carries a high price tag for this status. For those, who find the Echo price to be too high for their pocket, you will be pleased to here that Amazon is bringing the Echo’s distinctive voice activated assisant, Alexa voice service to the general public for free. Amazon will be making this possible through their recently launched website, Echosim.io, the website is easy to use and allows you to put Alexa to the test. If you want to try Alexa voice service head over to Echosim.io login with your Amazon account details, hold down the mic icon and ask away, Alexa will give you an answer.
According to Amazon, “the Echosim.io lives in your browser, so anyone, anywhere can access it and test their Alexa skills. You no longer need an Alexa-enabled device to test your skills. Developers worldwide can use Echosim.io to experience Alexa. Its simplicity makes it easy for anyone to understand what an Echo is and what it does without having to explain Alexa’s unique UX”.
Although, on the web use of Alexa may not substitute the need for the speaker, it is still a step towards experiencing the full benefits of owning an Amazon Echo speaker.
