News report from the Financial times, states that Apple Music’s paying subscriber list has reached 10 million. This new report favours earlier forecasts suggesting that Apple Music could reach 20 million subscribers by year end.
Considering the time range in which Apple reached the 10 million subscribers milestone, is indeed impressive. The Phone making giant, made a late entry in the music streaming industry, However, it does not reflect in the number of customer base, they have acquired.
Apple began providing music streaming services at the end of June, 2015, which is barely 7 months ago. Comparing this record to that of Spotify, Apple’s biggest rival in the music streaming business, it took Spotify six years to acquire such number of subscribers.
Apple currently sits second in the list of Music streaming services with the most subscribers.
