Three new smartphones from Avenir Telecom, an Energizer licensee brand, were launched at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in Barcelona. These Energizer devices include the Energizer Hardcase H590S, Energizer Power Max P490S, and Energizer Power Max P16K pro. These three devices come with a display of an 18:9 aspect ratio, as well as four different cameras each (two on the rear and two on the front). The Power Max P16K Pro comes with a huge 16000mAh battery under the hood. The phones will be launched in the Power Max and Hardcase brands, with The Company, believes that the brand and feature of their devices are at premium level, hence they shouldn’t join the competition in the country’s low-end market.
Energizer Power Max P16K Pro specifications
The Energizer Power Max P16K Pro runs on an Android 8.0 Oreo and sports a 5.99-inch full-HD plus (1080×2160 pixels) with an aspect ratio of 18:9 IPS LCD display. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 SoC, coupled with a 6GB of RAM as well as a large 128GB of internal storage. The Energizer Power Max P16K Pro device sports a 16-megapixel dual rear camera and a 13-megapixel sensor combination that has features such as dual tone dual LED flash and Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF). The front camera comes with another 13-megapixel dual camera with a 5-megapixel sensor.
Available connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS and USB Type-C. Sensors on the device include a proximity sensor, gyroscope, fingerprint sensor and accelerometer. It also sports a 16000mah non-removable battery underneath the hood and it weighs 350 grams due to this grand size battery. There’s yet to be specific information on when the Energizer Power Max P16K Pro will be launched.
Energizer Power Max P490S specifications
The Energizer Power Max P490S is a dual SIM device which runs on an Android 8.0 Oreo and sports a 4.95-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 SoC, coupled with 2GB RAM as well as a 16GB internal storage which can be expandable with a micro SD card (up to 32GB).
The smartphone device comes with a total of four cameras, with two rear cameras (8-megapixel and 0.3-megapixel) and two front cameras (5-megapixel and 0.3-megapixel). It is powered with a battery capacity of 4000mAh underneath the hood.
The Power Max P490S gets a 4G VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi +Hotspot, Bluetooth among others. Sensors available on the device include a fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, and accelerometer. The Energizer Power Max P490S is yet to be launched as well but will be launched before the second quarter of 2018.
Energizer Hardcase H590S specifications
The Energizer Hardcase H590S sports a 5.9-inch full-HD plus (1080×2160 pixels) display with an aspect ratio of 18:9, as well as a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The dual SIM smartphone device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek P23 (MT6763) SoC, coupled with a 6GB of RAM and a large 128GB of internal storage, which can be expandable with a micro SD card (up to 256GB).
The Hardcase H590S sports a 16-megapixel and a 0.3-megapixel sensor combo at the back of the device, as well as a 13-megapixel and a 0.3-megapixel camera in the front, with a battery capacity of 5800mAh underneath the hood. It comes with connectivity options such as Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, NFC, and USB Type-C (supports fast charge).
Available sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, heart rate monitor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, light sensor, compass, UV sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The device is both shockproof and waterproof with an IP68 certification, as well as dimensions of 164.2mmx79.4mmx12.15mm. The Energizer Hardcase H590 should become available from the second quarter of 2018.
