Facebook adds group call function to the Facebook messenger app

Facebook has announced that they are pushing another update to the facebook messenger app. This new update will allow users to make group calls with up to 50 participants. An obviously pleasing news for those who make calls to discuss with a group of friends or discuss business.
Facebook messenger currently boast of 900,000 million monthly users, and the social media messaging app is showing no signs of trying to savour their success. Apparently, Facebook wants to command all things social networking, haven acquired whatsapp and Instagram in the past years. Added to their frequent release of updates that increases the usefulness and the productivity gotten from the companies range of social apps.
That said, this update should have taken effect. If you are not seeing, just head over to Google’s Play Store, search for the ‘messenger app’, download and you should be utilizing feature right away. “If you have the latest version of Messenger, you should see
the phone icon appear in group conversations within the next 24 hours”.
