Social media giant, Facebook, has introduced a new application called ‘Mentions’ to the android platform. ‘Mentions’ is one of Facebook’s  many applications, designed to allow users share posts with people who are following them and also for live broadcast.

The ‘Mentions’ application was released back in July, 2015, exclusively for iPhone users. It has taken Facebook, quite sometime to bring this app to the Android platform. This application is designed for people with celebrity status, If you are a local celebrity, state celebrity, National celebrity, a World renowned celebrity or a celebrity among your peers. ‘Mentions’ will carter for your publicity needs , as it allows users to communicate with followers, star conversation, share media, read trending news etc.

  1. Mentioning now is quite easy. Though there is a limit to the number of friends that can be mentioned at a time.
