Femi Otedola’s Choice of Mobilephone Is A Big Suprise

Femi Otedola is the 4th Richest Man in Nigeria with a Networth Of $1.1Billion (Forbes). Its only normal for men of his class to use the most expensive gadgets money can buy , but Femi is quite the opposite. He was spotted at a function with two phones on the table in front of him. Those phones are nowhere near what we call “Smartphones”. Have a look.

Its funny. Why would a billionaire with so much wealth choose to use a smartphone that costs less than $50? The reason is simple ; Security. Lets admit it , this generation of Smartphones are not 100% safe. In the last few years we’ve heard of smartphone hacks on both Android and iOs. I maybe a bit too quick to judge , but this is probably the reason Mr Femi decided to be on the safe side by using an almost impermeable smartphone. Another reason could be Productivity. He probably dosent use his phone beyond making calls and sms. Thus , he decided to go with something simple. I mean , what’s the essence of carrying a big phone when you dont know how to use 80% of the functions?

I’m sure you’re already wondering , “How does he read and reply Emails”. He probably has a Macbook that handles that.

Whatever the reason is , Femi Otedola’s Choice of phones really suprised me.
