Android service provider, Google, has released statistics showing the distribution of each version of android. “The data reflects devices running the latest Google Play Store app, which is compatible with Android 2.2 and higher. Each snapshot of data represents all the devices that visited the Google Play Store in the prior 7 days”, the company wrote.
Statistics show that KitKat is the android version with the most installation, this represents 36.1%, Jellybean comes in second, with an installation percentage of 26.9%, Gingerbread 3.0%, Ice Cream Sanwich 2.7% while Froyo is now installed on 0.2% of all devices.
I don’t understand what the update is referring to. But everything about Google is always good.
