Google wants to Smartify your Home with Brillo

In a bid to smartify your home , Google has announced Brillo , An Os that will power devices at home. Brillo is based on Android , but has been Optimised to work on low end devices.
Google partnered with Nest Labs to build the system , and Brillo Powered devices can be controlled and provisioned through a marginalized central console.
Brillo will make it possible for smart devices to access the internet and also communicate with the environment.. With brillo , Google wants to create an environment where everything is connected to the internet, creating “swarm intelligence” from individually dumb devices. Bins, toasters, roads and lights will be able to talk to each other for automatic, more efficient control and monitoring.
In a Brillo Community , a bin could tell the council or city when it is full and needs collecting, rather than just on a set schedule. A fridge could detect when the milk is empty and order another pint. A heating or air conditioning system could track its owner and only turn on when they are on their way home.
Brillo’s developer preview will be available later this year.
