Google’s upcoming premium smartphone, Google Pixel appears in latest leak


The launch of Google’s new line of device, Pixels, draws near by each passing day, so has the excitement, forecast, and rumours about the specs of the upcoming device drawn near to full frenzy. Well, the question or speculation about the looks of the device has been put to bed by the recent leak of the upcoming pixels image. The image was released through venture beat and the website says it is from an authenticated source.
With the image of the Google Pixel and the information about Google’s plans for the device in mind. We can expect an averaged sized wowzer. The Pixel line will be launched with two devices, the Pixel and Pixel XL. Both devices are said to be Google’s attempt to foray into the premium smartphone space and compete with premium brands like Samsung, Apple and the rest of the high-end smartphone makers. The Pixel line are purported replacements of the Nexus line of devices and will come with a premium pricing, something in the region of $600 and above.
Both devices (Google Pixel and Pixel XL) will be made by HTC and they will run a customized version of the Android Operating system. Going by the leaked image, we will have a new Google search menu, redesigned virtual buttons, and round app icons. The Pixel devices will be launched at Google’s fall event, on the October 4. So come October 4, we will be seeing the devices and their specifications as released by the manufacturer, Google. Nevertheless, as the launch day draws near, we should be seeing more leaks.
