Here are the complete specifications of the Galaxy A (2017) series, Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5, Galaxy A7.

 


Samsung has started 2017 on a good note with three new devices added to their A 2017 series. The three devices consists of Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5, and the Galaxy A7. The A series was released in Russia some days back and will be gradually introduced into global markets.

Spec wise all three devices have pretty impressive specs for their categories. They have a metal frame with a 3D glass rear, an IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, LTE Cat.6 network connectivity as well as USB Type-C connectivity. All three devices will be coming in the same colour variants, Black Sky, Gold Sand, Blue Mist and Peach Cloud colour variants.

Spec wise the Galaxy A7 (2017) is the most specced device of the three. Sporting a 5.7-inch FHD Super AMOLED display, a 1.9 GHz, octa-core processor matched with 3 GB RAM + 32 GB Storage, MicroSD slot (up to 256 GB). The device is powered by a 3,600 mAh, with fast-charging capability. Galaxy A7 (2017) runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. This is not too cool as it is the old version Android. Hopefully there will be an update in the nearest future.

For pictures taking and video shooting, the Galaxy A7 (2017) is equipped with a 16 MP (F1.9) rear,  and 16 MP (F1.9) front camera. For Connectivity the device is equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v 4.2, ANT+, USB Type-C, NFC (UICC, eSE)

Galaxy A5 (2017)                                         

The Galaxy A5 (2017) sports 5.2-inch FHD Super AMOLED screen, a 1.9 GHz, octa-core processor matched with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB Storage, MicroSD slot (up to 256 GB). The device runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery equipped with fast charging.

For pictures and videos, the Galaxy A5 (2017) is equipped with a 16 MP rear, 16 MP front camera. The device comes a couple of connectivity, sensor, payment features, they include; Accelerometer, Proximity, Geomagnetic, RGB Light, Hall, Fingerprint scanner, Barometer (sensors), MST technology (Samsung Pay), Samsung KNOX, S-Voice, Dual SIM support, IP68 certification and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v 4.2, ANT+, USB Type-C, NFC (UICC, eSE) features.

 

Galaxy A3 (2017)

The Galaxy A3 (2017) sports a 4.7-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a 1.6 GHz, octa-core processor clubbed with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB Storage, MicroSD slot (up to 256 GB). The device runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box and is powered by a 2,350 mAh battery, no fast charge feature.

Galaxy A3 (2017) sports a 13 MP (F1.9) rear, 8 MP (F1.9) front cameras as well as, sensor (Accelerometer, Proximity, Geomagnetic, RGB Light, Hall, Fingerprint Scanner, Barometer), and connectivity (Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth® v 4.2, ANT+, USB Type-C, NFC (UICC)) functions. Additional features: MST Technology (Samsung Pay) Option, Samsung KNOX, S-Voice, Dual SIM support, IP68 certification
