HTC U12 Plus full specs and renders leaks

It is only one day to the official launch of HTC summer release – HTC U12 Plus – and the tech company has already mistakenly confirmed the specs and renders leaked by the chief leaker himself – Evan Blass.
The confirmation came through Roland Quandt via The Verge who for a few moments caught a glimpse of the test page set up by HTC online team. In addition to the specs and renders confirmation, the pricing list was also released for both retail and the company’s European stores.
The HTC U12 Plus will be available in four colour variants – Black, Red Rose, Violet, and Translucent which was also available in HTC U11.
One of the major features of the smartphone is its dual front facing camera which is an 8MP primary shooter and 8MP secondary sensor with a F/2.0 wide-angle lens. The rear camera is also a dual setup with 12MP wide-angle UltraPixel shooter and a 16MP telephoto camera which is capable of 1.85 to 2x optical zoom. The camera also comes with PDAF + laser autofocus capabilities.
It’s surprising to note that HTC did not follow in the footsteps of the likes of OnePlus, iPhone, LG in adopting the notch. Instead, it featured a dual front camera which was mentioned earlier on a tall, thin bezel screen. This will surely play to its advantage in the market against its big competitors.
The HTC U12 Plus will sport a 6-inch LCD6 screen with 1440 x 2880 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. It will run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box and a 3,500 mAh battery.
The pricing list on the test run page which has been put down now says the HTC U12 Plus will be sold in China at a retail price of 5,888 yuan (~N331,200).
The HTC U12 Plus will be officially released tomorrow and the full details about the device will be out.
