We’ve seen major Smartphone makers launch their flagship’s for the year, most notables on this list are Samsung and LG, who launched their devices, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge and the LG G5, way back in February. Smartphone power house, HTC, have opted to have a stand alone launching for their 2016 flagship, HTC 10, perhaps to avoid going toe to toe with Samsung and LG or to create a unique phone and a unique appeal for their upcoming flagship, whatever be the reason we will soon be finding out. Speaking of finding out, a recent leak on the HTC 10 bares the covered and coverless back side of the device. Also from the pictures leaked revealed enough for one to make out the chamfered edges of the device.
The leaked specifications of the HTC 10 thus far align, and it shouldn’t come as a surprise if they are spot on, come April 12 (the date HTC 10 is expected to be launched. The event will take place online only). So, come April 12 we will be expecting a device with a 5.15-inch quad HD Super AMOLED screen (that is a 2560×1440 determination show) along with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 inside, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of capacity. It looks like we’re staying with a 12-megapixel camera on the back of the gadget and possibly fitted with a Sony IMX377 sensor which is a well tested sensor; it is found in the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X, both devices take crisp pictures. Also in circulation is the news that vthe HTC 10 will sport an ultra pixel camera, and a great sound system. The pricing of the device is still unknown but if I am to guess, the device should cost less compared to the Galaxy S7 (235k-280k in Nigeria), S7 Edge and LG G5, perhaps under 200k in Nigeria.
So that’s all we have on the HTC 10, stayed locked on AndroidNigeria for Android news in Nigeria and diaspora.
