Huawei dual-camera phones, Honor 7A and 7C is now available in India with a price below N55,000

 


The Huawei sub-brand, Honor has announced the availability of its entry-level smartphones – Honor 7A and 7C – in the Indian market, today. This is coming after the Chinese company mid-range flagship – Honor 10 – was also launched in the same market.

The announcement which was made in partnership with Reliance Jio, revealed that the Honor 7A would be available on Flipkart stores as from May 29, while Honor 7C will make its debut on Amazon two days after Honor 7A.

Honor 7A will be sporting a 5.7-inch display with 720 x 1440 screen resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. This is quite similar to what is found on Honor 7C, except for the display size which is 6-inch. The Honor 7A will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

The chipset in Honor 7C is a much faster Snapdragon 450 octa-core chipset. It comes with options of 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal memory.

Both phones pretty much offer the same features in the photography section, sporting a rear dual-camera setup (13MP + 2MP) and an 8MP front-facing camera which comes with face unlock. They also come with a rear fingerprint scanner, MicroUSB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and FM radio.Honor 7A and 7C

Both Honor 7A and 7C will run on an Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 out of the box, and a 3,000mAh battery will power up the phones. The Chinese company also included a new feature called Ride mode which mutes notifications when the user is driving.

According to Honor, these smartphones are the cheapest dual camera phones out there, well, currently.Honor 7A and 7C

The much cheaper Honor 7A will roll out for INR8,999 (~N46,800) with Black, Blue and Gold colour options. The 3/32GB variant of Honor 7C will be sold at INR9,999 (~N54,000) and the 4/64GB variant at INR11,999 (~N63,800). Apart from Amazon and Klipkart stores, they can also be purchased on Hihonor.in.
