Infinix Hot 3 specifications and pricing


Infinix mobility has launched their first smartphone for the year, the Infinix Hot 3. The device is a successor to the Infinix Hot 2 and as such comes with some significant upgrade.

The Infinix Hot 3 has a plastic body, carrying a 5.5 inch screen with 720p resolution on its front. The screen also has a full-laminate GFF technology for 1.2mm high precision processing, which prevents glare while minimizing distance between glass and screen for crisp picture quality.Inside the Infinix Hot 3, you’d find a MediaTek quad core processor that runs up to 1.3GHz. Clubbed with the processor is a Mali400-MP2-GPU for quality graphics paired with 1/2GB RAM options depending on the variant. It has 16GB of storage on board which could be expanded up to 32GB through a MicroSD card.

Infinix Hot 3 was initially touted as a phone designed with selfie in mind, however, the specs on paper is kind of a let down, although, the device is yet to be tested to see how good it really is in use. That said, the Hot 3 comes with a 2MP front camera and a 8MP back camera both have flash but the front camera’s flash is described by Infinix as soft flash; a hint that it won’t be as powerful as the one found at the back.

Powering the device is 3,000 mAh battery that is said to keep your phone running for 9 hours of web browsing, 20 hours of talk time and 33 hours of music. Infinix Hot 3 will be coming with Android 5.1 with Infinix own XUI layered on top.

For connectivity, Hot 3 supports 3G / 4G LTE network depending on the variant. The device supports Dual Micro SIM cards, it also comes with a Bluetooth, USB port and WiFi.

The Infinix Hot 3 is available in Pink ,Gold ,white and blue color options and now on sale on Konga Nigeria, at about N26,500.
