The Hot 6 Pro is the superior variant of the Hot 6 base version. This is the only variant announced alongside the Hot 6, unlike what we have seen (the simultaneous launch of Lite devices) during the launch of the past Hot devices. It means that the Infinix will not be offering any cheaper variant other than the base variant of the Infinix Hot flagship for 2018. Without much ado, let us look at the specs of the Hot 6 Pro, shall we?

Body and display.

The Hot 6 Pro is cut from the same plastic material as the Hot 6. It also has the same form factor as the base variant. On the front, the device carries a 6-inch HD + IPS LCD capacitive screen with an 18:9 screen to body ratio. The screen setup allows an immersive view from all angles. When you consider the 720 x 1440 pixels screen resolution and 282 pixels per inch density, you will confidently expect a crisp and immersive view.

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE

Hot 6 Pro comes with a hardware setup almost identical to the Hot 6 except for some key differences. At the core of the device, there is a SnapDragon 425 chip with Quad-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The speed of the cores is clocked at 1.4GHz. An Adreno 308 chip handles the graphics rending of the device.

For memory, the Hot 6 Pro comes with a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via Micro SD card. The device runs Android 8.0 Oreo layered with XOS 3.0 Hummingbird.

Camera

For photography and videography, Infinix Hot 6 is equipped with a dual rear camera, a 13MP and 2MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture. Both camera’s work simultaneously to provide users with wide angles to capture scenes. On the front, Hot 6 carries a 5MP camera for selfies, wefies, and much more.

Battery

A 4,000mAh battery with fast charging feature (Quick Charge 2.0) powers the device. The device is available in Sandstone Black, Magic Gold, Bordeaux Red, City Blue colour shades.

Availability and pricing of the Infinix Hot 6 Pro

The Infinix Hot 6 Pro is expected to go on sales starting from the 1 week in June. The pricing of the device has not been confirmed but we expect the device to be moderately priced and within #45,000 and #55,000 price range.
