Jumia hosting a Twitter party for the MTN entrepreneurship challenge


Jumia is set to host a chat tagged ‘Twitter party’ for the MTN entrepreneurship challenge powered by Jumia, on the 25 February 2016 at 2 pm – Tomorrow. The chat is aimed at engaging fans in discussing the challenge.

For those of you who do not know about the MTN entrepreneurship challenge, it is simply a platform created to foster entrepreneurship ideas of African youths. The MTN entrepreneurship challenge promises to be a stage for African youths aspiring to become entrepreneurs. Participants will be pitching their business ideas before established entrepreneurs, who will choose a participant with the most creative and plausible idea.

Entry into the competition requires a 2 or 3 man team. The competition is open undergraduates/recent graduates (no later than 2014/2015 or 2015/2016 set) from over 60 universities across 13 selected African countries. Non-students can also participate provided they have at least one eligible candidate on their team. Registration is currently ongoing and will end in March. The winner of this competition walks away with $25,000 plus mentorship by Jumia and a lot more.
