The Latest Update On Android Distribution Chart Clearly Shows The Dominance Of Android Jellybean Version

 


Recently, Google updated its distribution chart for android versions. The good news is that android gingerbread version has continued to fall tremendously as it has gone below the 20.0% mark , while android kit kat version is now on 2.5% which is an increase of 0.7% from last month’s stats.

Android jellybean version has a total combined percentage of 62% , with 4.1 jellybean having 35.3% , 4.2 having 17.1% and 4.3jellybean having 9.6% . What this actually means is that android jellybean version runs on 62% of android devices worldwide , 60% more than the froyo version(2.2) which is on 1.2%.

Gingerbread version was released 3years ago and its current 19.0% share of the android market shows just how strong the gingerbread version is , although it has continued to fade off over the last few months.

Android Kit Kat was released late last year and that could be the reason why it has a low share in the android market. However , this percentage is expected to increase in the next few months as some phone manufacturers have released the kit kat version for their respective devices.
