LG Unveils Octa-Core NUCLUN Processor

LG electronics has unveiled its first mobile application processor (AP) featuring eight-core architecture and LTE A Cat.6 network capability for high performance and low energy consumption. LG NUCLUN Processor is an octa-core chipset that uses four ARM Cortex-A15 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz, and four ARM Cortex-A7 cores clocked at 1.2 GHz. The new chipset uses ARM technology, and supports LTE-A Cat.6 – allowing download speeds of up to 225 Mbps.
LG NUCLUN Processor will debut on LG G3 Screen smartphone launched few days ago. LG G3 Screen is a 5.9-inch IPS display with 1080 x 1920 pixels. It also has. “high fidelity” 1W speaker, 13 MP rear camera with OIS+, a 2.1 MP front-facing camera, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of expandable memory, and a 3000 mAh battery.
