LG V35 ThinQ unveiled: An upgraded version of the LG V30 ThinQ

LG launched two new additions to the “V” ThinQ family today in a quiet move. The smartphones – LG V35 ThinQ and LG V35 Plus ThinQ – were upgraded variants of the LG V30 ThinQ and the LG V30S ThinQ with some extra features from the LG G7 ThinQ.

The LG V35 is quite similar to the LG V30, sporting the same  6-inch FullVision OLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio and HDR10 support. The arrangement of the rear dual-camera and rear fingerprint scanner is also the same. They also come in the same colour options – New Aurora Black and New Platinum Gray.LG V35 ThinQ specs and features

But the LG V35 ThinQ sports an upgrade in the storage section, from 4GB of RAM to 6GB with 64GB of internal storage for the LG V35 and 128GB for the LG V35 Plus. Under the hood, the LG V35 runs on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 unlike the Snapdragon 835 in LG V30 ThinQ.

Although the rear camera setup of the LG V30 and LG V35 is quite similar, the camera features are very different. The LG V35 took its features from the LG G7 ThinQ, sporting a 16MP duo rear shooter (the LG V30 had 16MP + 13MP setup) with an 8MP selfie camera, from 5MP in the V30.LG V35 ThinQ specs and features

The camera will also come with the LG G7 AI capabilities with Google Lens features right inside the camera app.
The LG V35 ThinQ will come with a pair of Bang & Olufsen headphones, also sporting LG’s Quad DAC for sound enhancements.

It will likely run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, plus a 3,300 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and wireless charging. The smartphone is also IP68 water resistant.

LG is set to release the LG V35 ThinQ in the U.S. market by June 8 at a huge price of $900. AT&T will begin pre-orders on Friday, June 1.
