Mark Zukerberg set to build an artificial intelligence like Iron Man’s “Jarvis”

 


markzuckerbergMark Zukerberg, has announced his intention to build an artificial intelligence (AI) for his home, one that is like the artificial AI “Jarvis” in the movie blockbuster Iron man. Mark Zukerberg made this announcement at the beginning of 2016, in his usual fashion of setting personal challenges each year. “Every challenge has a theme, and this year’s theme is invention”, he wrote.

According to Mark Zuckerberg, his proposed artificial intelligence will serve functions ranging from notifying him when his young daughter needs attention, to letting visitors into his home, all this will be done when it recognizes the person speaking. “I’m very interested in using voice and face recognition to set lights and temperature as well depending on who is in what rooms, etc,” he wrote. “For example, I like rooms colder than Cilla, and but it’s possible to just see who is in what room and adjust the temperatures automatically.” His intended use of the artificial intelligence is quite ambitious, astonishingly, he says its a simple AI.

However, it does not make this project impossible, tech inventions have being pushing the human minds perceived limit of impossibility. Science fiction gadgets (virtual reality) are being brought into reality, every now and then by inventions.

Last year, the Facebook founder, Mark Zukerberg, set a goal to learn mandarin, China’s most spoken language. Mark Zukerberg has proven over the years that he is creative and loves to take on challenges. Financing this pet project of his will not pose a problem, he is a billionaire.

“This should be a fun intellectual challenge to code this for myself. I’m looking forward to sharing what I learn over the course of the year” he wr0te.
