Recently, Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus, in an interview announced that OnePlus 6 will come with a notch. This was later confirmed by Pete Lau, the CEO of the Chinese company, who also stated that the notch can be hidden if that’s what you want. Meanwhile, Some days back, the alleged official pricing list for the smartphone for India was leaked, which also hints a new variant of the phone named OnePlus 6 Premium featuring 256GB of internal memory.
Last weekend, a rendered image of the front panel was leaked, giving us a better look at the front view of the phone. This image was posted on a Chinese social platform Weibo which confirmed some of the speculations making rounds.
A selfie camera, LED notification light and the phone earpiece are all within the notch. The volume buttons and power key are in their usual place the left side and right side respectively. DxOMark logo can be found on the image of OnePlus 6 which suggests a possible review of the phone is ongoing. Something of note is the bottom and side bezels which are noticeably thin while the top bezel is wider possibly because of the notch.
