New information suggests that there could be a Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Pro with Snapdragon 710; let us look at the facts

Last week Xiaomi announced the third generation of their fast selling tablet – Xiaomi Mi Max 3. The flagship received a fashionable elongated display, an improved camera, and then a milliamp boosted battery. For a processor, a strong average Snapdragon 636 was chosen. Before the announcement, speculative news on the net suggested that this year the company is pretty much rolling out the hardware part of the phablet and will release its Pro version with the Snapdragon 710. This news was not destined to come true as only the Snapdragon 636 was unveiled, but there are those who still believe in the hope of a tablet with a Snapdragon 710 chipset.

Well, it seems their hoping will not be a waste as information purportedly coming from a Chinese Qualcomm website indicates that the release of such a model is possible, but when the launch event will take place is unknown. The information did not state the specifications of the device but we expect it to spot similar specs save for the processor.

Some days back, performance results of Xiaomi Mi Max 3 in AnTuTu popped up on the internet and on the basis of the competition, the device scored more than 118 thousand points. This is an excellent result for Snapdragon 636, and it is only slightly inferior to Snapdragon 660, which means its power is enough for everything, except for high res games which will have to “tweak” the graphics settings.
