The suspension of the social media accounts of the Niger Delta avengers is in line with recent agreement between the world government and social media companies, search engines etc. to work towards curbing the menace of terrorists and groups promoting violence or making threats through the Internet and using their social media accounts as a store front for recruiting impressionable individuals into their fold. We can only wait and see what how the militant group launches another account or if they will get their Facebook account banned as well.
