With the official release of the Oppo Find X came a huge surprise. At the end of the press event in Paris, Oppo announced the impending launch of the Find X Lamborghini Edition, a special edition of the Oppo Find X which features the company’s SuperVOOC fast battery charging technology.
The phone is not themed “Lamborghini Edition” for nothing – the SuperVOOC powers up the 3,400mAh battery from 0 to 100 percent in just 35 minutes. The standard VOOC charging tech used in the Find X would take 90 minutes to fully charge the same battery.
For this project, Oppo partnered up with Automobili Lamborghini to produce this special edition of the Find X with sporty specs and Lambo-themed. The back of the phone is made of carbon fibre with a protective glass cover. Also on the back is 3D-looking Lamborghini badge.
The phone packaging is also Lambo-themed. According to the company, the USB-C cable woven pattern was based on the design of the Lamborghini Aventador’s V12 engine, while the Y” design on the Find X Lamborghini Edition box is from the design of the same car headlights.
The memory also got upgraded from 256GB to 512 GB of internal storage in the Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition.
Apart from all these, the remaining specs of the Find X Lamborghini Edition are pretty the same as normal Find X. The same 6.42-inch AMOLED dual curved screen with 93 percent screen-to-body ratio, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, no difference in RAM, and exactly the same spectacular pop-up cameras.
Special edition also means special price, especially if it’s a sports car edition, then the price will be really pumped up. The Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design was sold at a huge price of (~N880,000), featuring 512GB of internal memory. The Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition will be coming at a price of
(~N420,000) which I suppose, is cheaper. The phone is also coming out next month in Europe.
