Orbi is a new startup that wants you to chat more with voice than text. Orbi allows users to communicate via 9 seconds voice notes called “Orbs”
How it works is simple. You create a profile , upload your 9 seconds voice note and get to discover people based on your social network and personal interest. Users can comment on Orbs and share other people’s orbs via the “Reorb” button.
The user interface is very neat and simple. There are 3 tabs for navigation ; Timeline , Notifications and Profile and you can move to any tab by swiping sideways..
The Smileys are very amusing with their local feel ; “Proudly Naija”.
Orbi is available for download on Google Play store and you can also access the mobile web app via myorbi.com
