Samsung Almost Destroying Apple’s Brand With Patent Infringements?
Since Samsung launched its brand into the globe of Smartphones, they have been forging ahead like Juggernauts but it seems like they are using the ‘ideas’ of another device company, Apple in this case.
If you have been thinking like me, then you are not alone because even Apple’s top marketing executive, Phil Schiller agrees to this. According to Schiller, he was “quite shocked” when Samsung released their original Galaxy S smartphone, since it was a direct copy of the iPhone.
Phil claimed that the Samsung S series release weakened the world’s view of Apple gadgets, and that it caused users to “question our innovation and design skills in a way that people never used to” because it was so similar.
But looking at it, is Apple right to accuse Samsung of ‘stealing’ their style? Apple just felt comfortable and in charge with their designs because they seemed like the only ones with such slim and sexy gadgets and never expected competition.
Apple created the ipad mini because of the rush to have more portable devices.
Well, Samsung saw a loophole probably and so, decided to pounce on it.
From my own point of view, the two mega tech companies just have money to throw around in the guise of court cases because I believe the world is changing and so, you can’t just call a particular design yours. When TV was made by its inventor, did it make it that no other company will produce TV with the popular rectangular or square look?
That’s how the market works. Only time will tell how this one’s going to end up, but we’ll keep you up to speed.
