Yesterday, Samsung announced the Galaxy A7 via a press release on its company blog. The upcoming device is expected to be a silver bullet for Huawei’s Mate 9 Pro with 3-rear cameras as well. Samsung Galaxy A7 sports Super AMOLED screen with Quad HD display, a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side and standard earphone jackets.
Other specs we know so far include the devices metal frame, there is a 4GB/6GB RAM paired with an expandable 64GB/128GB internal memory. The device runs an Octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz and a 3,300mAh battery powers it.
Samsung chose Android 8.0 for the Galaxy A7 operating system. That said, Galaxy A7’s cameras are its star features and Samsung has built its campaign around this feature. The South Korean company claims that the cameras “brings out the best of what it sees” and comes with intelligent software optimizations for post-processing of images. The Galaxy A7 has a 24MP+8MP (wide angle) + 5MP(depth) rear cameras and a 24MP front camera. On paper, the camera specs of the Samsung Galaxy A7 is impressive and we expect the quality to match Samsung’s high standard.
The device will be available in Blue, Black, Gold, and Pink colours. Unfortunately, Samsung did not announce the pricing of the device but there will be a launch event on October 11. Afterward, the device will be rolled out to the first markets then other countries will follow at some point in the future.
