Optical Scan Stand , Voice Labels And Samsung’s Ultrasonic Cover Are Samsung’s New Accessories

Samsung might develop lots of smart accessories and put more attention to galaxy s5 , but that dosent mean samsung has totally forgotten other low end android smartphones.

Samsung has developed 3 new accessoriess that have been designed to help the the disabled and visually impared explore their android phone.

The first accessory is an Optical Scan Stand, a raised bracket that automatically triggers the phone’s OCR features to recognize and read aloud text placed in front of the phone.

The second accessory is Voice Labels ,which are similar to Samsung’s NFC-equipped TechTile stickers, but let visually impaired users make voice notes or record short explanations on how to use
various devices around the home.

The last accessory is Ultrasonic cover , a smartphone case that helps the visually impaired by enhancing their awareness of their surroundings. The ultrasonic case of its Galaxy Core Advance smartphone now helps its owners to sense people and objects that are 2meter away.

The cover includes a number of physical buttons to aid disabled users. The Ultrasonic Cover emits a high-frequency sound, listening for the sound wave that bounces back. When it detects a nearby object, the phone lets the smartphone owner know by sending a vibration alert or text-to-speech notification.
