Samsung Galaxy S6 might be unveiled at the CES 2015


Rumours has it that South Korea Tech giant, Samsung, will unveil Samsung Galaxy S6 at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) taking place in Las Vegas from 6th – 9th January, 2015. The report also said that the new handset could be accompanied by a curved screen variant with a dual-edged display, similar to that found on the Galaxy Note 4 Edge.

Well, None of this has been officially confirmed by Samsung, so it’s just a rumour but looking at the history of the Samsung Galaxy S series, Galaxy S5 was launched at MWC at the end of February, Galaxy S4 was in March 2013 and Samsung Galaxy S3 launched in May 2012. Galaxy S2 was announced in February 2011. You can tell it might be a rumour after all.

The Galaxy S6 is expected to feature a 5.5-inch display, 3GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage and powered by an Exynos 7420 octa-core processor running
on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. The device is said to have a 20 MP rear camera and a 5MP front snapper.
