Nokia has released a number of devices in 2017 but the company is yet to launch their flagship for this year as is customary of all OEM’s. We have been waiting for the company’s flagship, and every news report on the said flagship, indicates that the Finnish company will be launching the device this July. Well, why we wait for an official announcement on the launch date, we have a live render of the device courtesy of Evan Blass (known by the Twitter handle @evleaks).
The leaked render is said to be Nokia’s upcoming flagship, Nokia 8. This is contrary to popular opinion that Nokia’s flagship for this year will be Nokia 9. That said, Nokia 8 is said to feature a 5.3-inch Quad HD screen with a Snapdragon 835, and 4GB or 6GB RAM within the devices frame. The leaked render shows that the device will sport a Dual camera setup on the back with a Zeiss branding. Each camera will come with 13MP sensors and the device will run Google’s latest OS Android 7.1.1 out of the box.
As for other specifcations of the Nokia 8, the device is expected to sport flagship hardware that means we will be seeing a fingerprint scanner, a battry over 3,000mAh, 4G LTE support, among other features. The pricing for the device is expected to start at $770, which well over 200k.
