In a rare Instagram post, littered with F* words, rapper Snoop Dogg, sent a message to Microsoft, it reads “A message to Xbox One or Microsoft or whoever the f***. Y’all f*****’ server is f*****’ wack, man. Y’all going to make me switch to PlayStation if y’all don’t ever get this s*** fixed. Is it that difficult to play someone online?”
Snoop Dogg continued: “What the f*** is you doing, Bill Gates?! Fix your s***, man.” Although, Gates is not at the helm of affairs at Microsoft, ‘Snoop’ is not concerned. He only what the the network fixed. Bill Gates is only a technical adviser at Microsoft.
Snop Doggs complaint is well founded, although channeled via a wrong platform (who sends a message to a manufacturer via his Instagram handle, its Snoop Dogg. They should come and read it and go fix their stuff). Microsoft’s Redmond has, indeed, been experiencing issues with Xbox, with its live status being in limited mode.
Will the words of a well renowned celebrity like Snoop suffice for Microsoft to fix this unpleasant problem, remains to be seen from their actions to come. There is no question of, if the news of the superstars rant has made rounds or if it has gotten to Microsoft. However, Snoop’s threat to move to PlayStation — akin to dumping, some might say, your Windows Phone for an iPhone — doesn’t necessarily promise better gaming. as, Sony’s gaming platform also suffered difficulties (source: CNET).
