While the excitement about the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, the next Samsung flagship smartphones is still on going, there seem to be plans of launching an entry level android phone this month. Samsung Galaxy J1 2016 version, a successor of Samsung Galaxy J1 2015 version seem to be the next release from Samsung.
Rumour says the Samsung Galaxy J1 2016 comes in three colours, white, black and gold. It had the typical Samsung design so it’s nothing special about the design. The new Samsung Galaxy J1 features a 4.5-inch display with a very small resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Unlike the old version which has 4.3inch display making the new device slightly bigger than the old version.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 2016 version is said to be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 1.3GHz quad-core 3457 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. Out-of-the-box, the smartphone will run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and will come with dual-SIM support as well. It is said to sport 8GB of built-in storage. On the camera front, the Galaxy J1 (2016) is said to feature a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front facing camera – the same as the Galaxy J1.
