
Twitter users can now watch videos on twitter as the social media site has now fully integrated Periscope. Periscope is a subsidiary of Twitter that is responsible for live video streaming services, there service has been a hit but was not fully integrated with Twitter. Before now, Twitter users would have to go through a website or another app to watch a video post by an individual via their handle.
Now users can watch video posted on Twitter by simple clicking on the video, and your watching. There is also the feature that allows users to switch to full screen mode, by tapping the video you switch to full screen mode.
Bear in mind, these videos will not have sound, they will autoplay on the user profile, tweets and timelines, Playing a video with sound can be done by tapping a video on the stream. Comments, hearts can be viewed inside a broadcast on Twitter, but adding comments or hearts can only be done by opening the video inside Periscope
This new feature will begin first on iOS enabled devices at the moment, however, it will be rolling into Android and the web later, the company says. This new function is similar to that of Facebook and will surely make the social networking site all the more engaging and fun, that is if you are a Twitter user.
