Vivo rolls out the Vivo Z1i – an upgrade of the Vivo Z1
Specifications and pricing of the Vivo Z1i

The Vivo Z1i is an upgraded version of the Z1 that was announced a month ago with a different chipset, more storage, and better selfie camera. Like the Z1 the Z1i has a dual camera setup on the back and a notch on the screen. On the face of the device, you will find a 6.26” display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The screen displays in Full HD and the resolution is tuned to 1080x2280pixels. It has a 90% screen-to-body ratio.
The Vivo Z1i comes with Snapdragon 636, which is a downgrade compared to the 660 in the Vivo Z1. The RAM stays at 4 GB, ROM at 128 GB and there is room for expansion (256 GB microSD card in the hybrid SIM slot). The device also runs the same operating system, the FunTouch OS. For photography, Vivo Z1i has a 16-megapixel selfie camera, (Vivo Z1 had a 12 MP sensor that was advertised to take 24MP images) and a 13MP+2MP rear sensors arrangement. The device is powered by a 3,260 mAh battery.
Availability is restricted to China for now. The Vivo Z1i is available in Black with Gold accents or Red and sells for $285.
