Whatsapp latest version, adds cool features to the app

Whatsapp appears to be working towards its goal of increasing connectivity and ease of access among its users. The Facebook owned instant messaging application has added a new feature to its application in the latest update.
Whatsapp Group chat formerly had the capacity of no more than 100 users, has now been increased to 250 users. The expanded group limit is visible on Whatsapp version 2.12.367 and above. To update your application simply visit the download page for Android.
iOS users have also received an update that brings the same functionality, with version 2.12.13 of the app. However, the same cannot be said for other operating systems such as; BlackBerry and Windows.
In the recent weeks, Whatsapp announced the removal of their $1 yearly subscription, citing inconvenience of making payment by users in certain areas as a reason for removing the yearly subscription. In addition, the company stated that the yearly payment could hinder people’s access to communication, which is an issue Whatsapp exists to mitigate.
Whatsapp recently marked a billion monthly active user milestone, pegging the instant messaging service in the ranks of Gmail, Youtube, Facebook and other companies that have reached the milestone previously. 1 billion Monthly Active User equals to about 1 in 7 people using the service the world over. Recent stats indicate that over 42 billion messages are sent or received each day, users share over 1.6 billion photos and 250 million videos daily and it has over 1 billion group chats.
