Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Pro leaked with Snapdragon 710, 5,400mAh battery

From our earlier report on the alleged Xiaomi Mi Max 3 spotted on TENAA, we know that the smartphone may feature a 6.9 inches display, 1.8 GHz octa-core CPU, speculated to be Snapdragon 636. A new information from TechRadar hints at a Mi Max 3 Pro which was spotted on a deleted page on Xiaomi’s website.

The report states that the phone is a variant of the Mi Max 3, which we believe but can’t conclude that it’s the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Pro. The smartphone is reported to sport a 6.9 inches Full HD+ screen, the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, 6 GB of RAM with 128 GB of internal storage. The smartphone has the same screen (6.9 inches) and memory (6 GB RAM/128 GB) size as the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, only beating it in terms of the chipset.

The phone is powered by a huge 5,400 mAh battery (similar to Xiaomi Mi Max 3) which is a distinct feature of the Max family. Like the Mi Max 3, the Pro variant is also expected to sport a vertically stacked dual rear camera setup, LED flash with the primary sensor being Sony IMX363, and one of them will be a 12MP snapper. At the front will be a 5MP selfie shooter, the phone will run on Android 8.1 Oreo and a fingerprint sensor on the rear side.

This alleged Mi Max 3 Pro will be the second Xiaomi phone after the Mi 8 SE to sport a Snapdragon 710 chipset if this report proves to be true.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset which is designed for cheaper flagship devices are placed between flagship-tier Snapdragon 845 chipset and the upper mid-range Snapdragon 660 chipset. The Qualcomm processor features eight inner cores, 4K recording capabilities, and AI functionality.
